In this video interview, Wayne Stinson reveals how the Ranch for Kids has helped his family find new hope with their adopted daughter Julia. He credits RFK with saving her life…

“She lived initially with her family. Her father was a violent man. Her mother, at that state, was a fairly young woman and an alcoholic. She would lock Julia in the house for sometimes 48 hours. Julia and her brother learned to escape through windows to get food from neighbors. It was pretty brutal. She never really attached to us in a way. I think she saw us as another place to live but not really attachment. She was attached to her telephone. She was attached to Facebook, but she wasn’t attached to us. They rescued her from a slippery slope. She was heavily smoking she was heavily drinking she was promiscuous. The Ranch broke her of all of that. And I think initially it was like a wild bronco. It was real tough for her and real tough for them and they were very patient, very firm and as I said, it saved her life. We saved her life by adopting her and the Ranch saved her life in that the Ranch has given her new hope in life and it has given us new hope in her.”
