Sledding! Snow forts! Bonfires! With the January winter storms,Ranch for Kids has been busy enjoying the snowy weather. We’ve had great times out in the Montana mountains and gathering together for bonfires, hot drinks and tasty foods to warm us up. While playing and enjoying the scenery, the kids have also been monumental in helping out the community. Not only did they lend a hand in shoveling snow for the elderly in Rexford, Montana, they made and delivered muffins too!
Christmas decorations are slowly being taken down and a smattering of colds and sore throats have snuck up on some of the kids and staff.  Everyone is in good spirits and we practice being grateful in our actions everyday, a lesson that is discussed often and having a positive effect.
Three of the kids left on Monday, January 19 to attend the Montana Youth Challenge Academy. We will miss them and wish them all the best!
