MIKHAIL VOLSKY

Program Manager/Direct Care Manager
Mike Volsky
Mikhail (Mike) Volsky joined the staff at The Ranch for Kids ten years ago while simultaneously attaining minors in psychology, human biology, and music. He is currently pursuing a degree in psychology and a counseling license, holds CPR and First Aid and EMT certifications, and is a certificated MANDT Systems Instructor.

As the Program Manager, Mike is responsible for many of the Ranch’s administrative and leadership duties including hiring, scheduling, staff training and development, admissions, and system implementation. He also works as the Direct Care Manager  for the boys at the Ranch, specifically by facilitating meetings for staff and kids and encouraging positive behaviors.

Mike enjoys the environment at the Ranch, which allows him to experience all the splendors northwest Montana has to offer. Mike says his own tough transition from adolescence to adulthood fuels his passion for providing each child with the best possible chance for success.

“My relationship with my family and their constant support has allowed me to be a successful adult,” he says. “Needless to say, I have a strong belief in the importance of family and repairing any rift that may have been created over years. My job at the Ranch for Kids has created the perfect opportunity to share that with young children on a daily basis.”
