Leveraging confidence, vibrancy, and a resourceful work ethic, Terri serves as the Therapeutic Leadership Counselor at the Ranch for Kids. In this role, Terri works with the RFK Team to strengthen CORE Leadership Skills in students and staff via the ranch’s horse therapy program. As a counselor, Terri will utilize methods from the EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth & Learning Association) model, a certified technique that uses horses to address mental health and personal development needs in children and adults.

“Science has shown that emotions are contagious, which emphasizes why positive leadership is critical,” Terri says.

“Horses naturally provide great insight into leadership models that support authentically empowered families and teams.”

Prior to joining Ranch for Kids, Terri was a CASA advocate for Summit County Juvenile Court. Most recently, she served as a licensed school counselor for Eureka Public Schools where she assisted students in personal, career and social development. She holds a masters degree in clinical psychology from Capella University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The University of Akron.

Along with helping others, Terri enjoys the great outdoors here in Montana, as well as keeping up with the latest in technology and creative computer programming.
