Starting in September, RFK families will have the opportunity to enroll their children in a local Eagala Certified Program, Core Connections of Montana. Short for Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association, Eagala’s team approach to therapy includes an Equine Specialist, a Mental Health professional, and horses all working together with clients. With Eagala, no horseback riding is involved. Instead, effective and deliberate techniques are utilized where the horses are metaphors in specific ground-based experiences. The basis of the EAGALA Model is a belief that all participants have the best solutions for themselves when given the opportunity to discover them.  Rather than instructing or directing solutions, Eagala will allow your child to experiment, problem-solve, take risks, employ creativity, and find solutions.
